Emily Gorodetskiy

Emily Gorodetskiy, President, is a senior at Lowell High School with aspirations to pursue a career in economics and policy. At school, she serves as the Founder and President of the Youth Entrepreneurship Association, President of Lowell Model UN, and is on Student Body Council. Beyond academics, Emily is a dedicated dancer who enjoys teaching others, discovering new music, attending networking events, and exploring San Francisco’s diverse food scene.

 

Leah Mordehai

Leah Mordehai, Vice President, is a student at San Francisco University High School and plans on pursuing a career in business and law. Leah has always had a passion and curiosity for understanding how the business and finance world interact with the legal field. Along with JEC, she on the San Francisco Youth Commission, co-chairs San Francisco's Women Voter League Youth council, and is a student teacher at her synagogue. Additionally, Leah runs cross country and track, and leads her debate team. In her free time, Leah likes to read, listen to music, and journal.

 

Jaden Zhong

Jaden Zhong, Chief Financial Officer, is a senior at San Francisco University High School and plans to pursue a career in business or real estate. At school, he leads the Finance Club. Outside the classroom, Jaden is a passionate athlete who enjoys playing soccer and golfing. He currently interns at a real estate firm, gaining hands-on experience, which further fuels his career ambitions.

 

Mia Pinski

Chief Marketing Officer of the Junior Economic Club of San Francisco, is a junior at Lowell High School and plans on pursuing a career in marketing. Mia has a passion for strategic communication, brand development, and youth empowerment. Along with JEC, Mia is the Director of Marketing at Her Equity, a board member of the Student Health Advisory Board (SHAB), a regular volunteer at the SF Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and plays on her school’s varsity tennis team. In her free time, Mia enjoys writing poetry, walking her dog, and volunteering in healthcare settings.

 

Daniel Montejano

Daniel Montejano, Director of Strategic Initiatives at JEC SF, is a senior at Convent & Stuart Hall and plans on pursuing a career in business administration and mechanical engineering. Daniel has a passion for entrepreneurship, economics, and how technology shapes opportunity. Along with JEC, he is a Jack Kent Cooke Scholar, a lifeguard at the local JCC, and the founder of a youth-led fundraising initiative at his school. In his free time, Daniel likes to travel, swim, lift weights, and explore new business ideas.

 

Omid Dehdashti

Omid Dehdashti, is a junior at Lowell High School and plans to pursue a career in finance and investing. Additionally, Omid is President of Investment Club and Secretary of Key Club at Lowell. During his free time he loves volunteering, weight lifting, and occasional mountain biking.

 

Nellie Fouksman

Nellie Fouksman, Assistant Marketing Officer, is a junior at George Washington High School and plans on pursuing a career in education policy. Nellie has a passion for creating more equitable schools and ensuring that student voices are represented in every decision. Along with JEC, Nellie serves on multiple SFUSD leadership bodies, including the Student Advisory Council (SAC), the District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC), and the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) Committee. She is also part of numerous student organizations where she advocates for inclusion, language access, and meaningful student engagement. In her free time, Nellie likes to hang out with friends, read, and write.

 

Oliver Sempere

Oliver Sempere, Director of Community Outreach, is a sophomore at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts and plans to pursue a career in business, focusing on sports management and finance. At school, Oliver is the Education Director of the Youth Entrepreneurship Association (YEA) Chapter, participates in the film program, and plays on the golf team. Outside of school, he umpires Little League baseball and volunteers with home-building projects in Mexico. In his free time, Oliver enjoys filmmaking, traveling, and playing golf.
